The 4 B's of summer-to-school sleep schedules
A simple reset for busy parents
Late summer nights are the best in the moment.
You're outside enjoying the weather, and since it's lighter later, it's easy to lose track of the time.
But, even though they're filled with fun, when it comes time for school, those delayed bedtimes can make for tough mornings.
My wife and I haven't had to overhaul our entire routine to get our kids back on track.
Fact-based news without bias awaits. Make 1440 your choice today.

Here’s the simple recipe we use in our house, the 4 B’s:
Bath – Signals the body it’s time to wind down.
Books – A quiet ritual that calms the mind.
Bed – Consistency matters more than the clock. Stick to it!
Blinds – Blackout curtains help fight late sunsets and early wakeups.
Does it work perfectly every night? I think you know the answer to that 😂
But more often than not, this rhythm gets kids back into a sleep schedule without the fight.
Try it out this week.
You’ll thank yourself on the first day back.
